11-11-11

Today is 11.11.11, considered the triple portal into a new level of consciousness.

Consciousness is interesting. It is much like a paradigm shift that comes to you little by little and then one day, there is a BIG SHIFT. Often that shift comes in the eleventh hour, meaning "a time which is nearly too late". And when that 11th hour shows up for you, isn't that when you: complete a project? get the most done?

“And about the eleventh hour he went out and found others standing around; and he said to them, ‘Why have you been standing here idle all day long?’ “They said to him, ‘Because no one hired us.’He said to them, ‘You go into the vineyard too.’ Matthew 20:6-7 And they worked.

Here we are on 11.11.11 and it is easy to see that LIFE as we knew it . . . is gone.

You can no longer hang onto the past, what you know, and expect it to be the way things are now that we have crossed into this triple portal. Change, transformation, and personal development is upon us, and it may be time to create something brand new in your life . . . it may be time to re-invent yourself.

There is an old Hebrew word "BARRA" which means YOU have the ability to create "something out of nothing".

I had the privilege and the honor to work for Dr. Stephen R. Covey as an international trainer teaching his live 3-day intensives on his 7-Habits of Highly Effective People, and later his First Things First.

It was here that I had the opportunity to watch the paradigm shifts and transformation of leaders, managers, men and women and even families from around the world in my trainings.

Earth: On some level, all threads of life are first woven with the fiber of Earth. This interconnectedness reminds us not only is the earth a stabilizing and a wholly physical symbol, it also represents a network.

Earth is synonymous with belonging, feeling accepted; as if we belong in her presence.

Earth represents community and shared wisdom.

Earth also embodies the concept of solid ground.

Earth allows you to release the limitations of the "small mind" and returned to the foundation your true nature.

Flowers: Allow the Flowers to give you JOY, a sense of GLEE as you notice the the unfolding of their beauty, growth, and sensitivity. Flowers are all about opening up and receiving the light of love, dancing with GLEE, and accepting joy and compassion into our lives.

They remind us of the better things in life, the good times, the sweet smell of success. Because of them we remember the beauty that surrounds us if only we open up to its presence.

A long-standing symbol of purity, promise, and beauty is the rose. The rose promise is of a new beginning and hope. We must also take the thorns into consideration - with the promise of new hope, we may have to endure a few stinging thorns (painful ordeals) along the way. Overall, the rose is a poignant symbol of the beauty that is ready to unfold within each of our hearts, and a reminder that we must take the opportunity to savor the beauty around us.


Mountains: Mountains symbolizes triumph, challenge, attainment, and realization. Mountains also represent timelessness and an endurance that is INFINITE. When those mountains peak out of the cards into our attention, we may consider the vastness of our universe, and contemplate our place within it. We may also want to consider the heights to which we are climbing, and what the realization of our goals may mean for us and those around us.

The Hare: Reflexive, tentative-fast, the Hare represents decisive action tempered with good judgment. Rabbits are close to the earth and are very grounding symbols.

Awareness: look before you leap and always exercise good judgement.

Ram: Featured prominently in most decks, the head of the ram has symbol meanings of determination, action, initiative, and leadership.
The ram is also a symbol of Aries, which is the astral ruler of the Emperor. Aries is the first sign of the Zodiac, further reinforcing attributes of leadership, authority, and other forefather-type characteristics. When the ram butts our attention, it is a sign to take responsibility, get up, take action, and get motivated to accomplish our goals.


Yellow:

The color yellow is symbolic of intelligence as well as cheer, satisfaction and all-around contentment. Corresponding with the Manipura chakra, also known as the solar plexus chakra, yellow is an anchoring hue dealing with core issues in our lives. That which is at our emotional center is worth paying attention to, like our emotional well-being.
